A Poem To Sit With
16th Sunday of Ordinary Time A
July 20, 2014

There is no God besides you who …  is the source of justice;
your mastery over all things makes you lenient to all.
(First Reading)

If you reverence and
respect all life

if you can forgive
and forget

if you wish peace
to all—and to none
harm

if you do not judge
criticize or condemn

you have God’s heart
beating
in your body

This poem appears as #44 in Fr. Janda’s
