Gospel: Mark 1:1-8

One mightier than I is coming after me.
I am not worthy to stoop and loosen the thongs of his sandals.
 (Gospel)

Neither the pearl
nor the diamond

is diminished
by day or night

nor graced through
ownership

nor changed by price

purity is its
birthright

which craft
cannot create

only cherish
or destroy
