“Who are you?”
He admitted and did not deny it,
but admitted, “I am not the Christ.” (Gospel)

Winter Weather

You are in Denver
and
I in Boston now

drinking coffee
at Brighams

I just saw
a
wrinkled man
with
his son carrying
a big Christmas
present

I hit my tooth
with
the coffee cup
pretending
not to notice

I walk into doors
and
run into parking
meters
remembering him

for a second I saw
